advice in the Thought for Today above and chosen to ignore it
completely.

SOUTH AFRICA - WORLD RUGBY CHAMPIONS 2007
It's been twelve long years since we first laid claim to this title and
following our 15-6 defeat of England in Paris last Saturday, we're back
where we belong.
The team arrived home yesterday to be greeted by unprecedented crowds at
the airport and ticker-tape parades are planned in all major centers
over the next few days.
We LOVE winners so we'll be
celebrating this victory for quite some time to come.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
When it comes to sporting matters there is no love lost between South
Africa, Australia and New Zealand supporters and following the shock
exit of the latter teams in the quarter final stage of the competition
it took all of 30 seconds for local wags to put the boot in.

A very Happy Birthday to my
long suffering wife Priscilla. This is the first birthday she'll be
celebrating without at least one of our daughters in attendance so we'll
have to make it extra special for her.
