A
Thought for Today
Follow love and you need no other leader.

Ken,
How about the poem which includes the line:
"There was a house on Stanyan Street that took a single day to wreck......"
That one goes around and around in my head for some reason. I think it must be that maybe
it signifies a great loss of some sort. It is very cleverly written, I find myself reading
between the lines.
It also reminds me of my years spent in Southern California. I would read McKuen to my son
when he was only four or so. I know he never understood the words, but always listened.
This was one of our favorites.
Much Love, Randi
At last, Randi - thank you! I was wondering
how long it would be before someone came up with this classic. Interesting, too, that the
line that stuck in your mind came from the latter part of the poem and not the better
known first verse.
Hope your son has carried on appreciating
Rod's work.

favorite RM song or poem you'd like to share with the rest of us.
