THE DAYS GO BY |
|
Today is St. Ignatious of
Antiochs Day. On this day in 1867 Alaska became a U.S. Territory and in 1931 the
jail door slammed shut on Al Capone. Today in 1989 the earth shook violently in San
Francisco and surrounding areas. The Big Quake, we now await the bigger one.
Plan ahead: According to The Old Farmers Almanac for 1998, the 28th & 29th of
this month are the best days left to castrate animals. If youre in to breeding the
21st or 28th of October is the best time to give it a try and tonight is a good time for
entertaining.
Todays useful phrase while visiting Italy: La botte e gia aperta da molto tempo? /
Has this beer been tapped recently? Hope your beer is newly tapped and your energy is
unflagging this Saturday.

I am not afraid of
whats upcoming and what has gone before and if theres nothing left to know
about and learn Ill review the early lessons yet again.

See all sides of everything before being sure of anything.

Now I have the time, where are you?

Years pass by within a single hour for those who feel uncared
for. |

BERTHA'S PLACE |
|
Come on in -
if youre a friend of Berthas.
I am never sure anymore
if they are cruising me
or recognizing me.
Once a girl said
I remember you
you used to play
in them Roy Rogers movies.
I am not who you think I am
I replied
My name is Truman Capote
and I was once President
of these United States.
Of course, I should have said
Lets go home - Ill be who you want.
But Im only brilliant
when the chance has passed.
